Laminate Flooring
There’s an obvious difference between laminate flooring from hardwood and engineered flooring in that it is fundamentally not real wood.
It’s technically made of a layer of resin-infused paper on top of a wood-chip composite.
The resin layer is basically a photograph of wood and the untrained eye will think it’s hardwood, you can’t tell the difference.
Because of its composition, laminate flooring is very durable and scratch-resistant and can be installed in a range of spaces that typically deal with water on the floors, like a bathroom.
